    8. Flip the hash and press it down again into an even layer and brown the other side.

Making certain to press everything down into a even layer really goes a long way in making the hash crispy and golden brown. The Crisp edges are what make this simple hash recipe really special.

    Substitutions & Variations

    • Potatoes - we used Yukon gold potatoes when making our corned beef and cabbage dinner, however, red potatoes would work perfectly. If you don't have leftover potatoes to use, go ahead and boil potatoes until they are fork tender before using them in the corned beef hash.
    • Cabbage - again if you don't have any leftover cabbage go ahead and chop up some fresh cabbage, just cook it a few minutes longer.
    • Vegetables - you can add green bell pepper to the mix for some added flavor and texture.
    • Corned Beef - if you don't have leftover corned beef available you could substitute roast pork, or even roast beef.

    Storage & Helpful Hints

We normally don't have any leftovers of this leftover corned beef hash! However, you can place it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 days. Simply reheat it in a skillet on the stove top and top it with a fried egg for delicious breakfast or dinner any day or night of the week.
